This sketch was inspired by thoughts of life on other planets. How would cities look? How would housing look? I used different shapes and designs not common to life here on earth because I guessed that "aliens" would have their own kind of style. I just moved my pencil across the paper and found the paths that it took me.I found the videos above interesting because of the different camera angles they have. We are getting into animation so I thought it would be beneficial to me if I researched different camera techniques. The first video has many camera angles and movements. The second video's cameras don't move that often but stay stationary and do not often move with the subject. The two videos use different filming techniques but both are dynamic based on the the material and camera angles they used. The creators used what works best which teaches me that not all camera techniques work for every subject. I guess it just takes some experimenting to test and see which technique works the best for a specific project.
